How does this affect my trip?
Brown Line: Trains will operate on the Inner Loop, following the Pink Line routing.
Orange Line: Trains will operate on the Outer Loop, following the route normally used by the Brown Line.
Green Line: 63rd-bound trains will operate via Wells and Van Buren on the Outer Loop.
- For 63rd-bound service from Loop stations on Lake or Wabash, take a Pink or Brown Line train to Library station, then transfer to a 63rd-bound Green Line train.
- To access Loop stations on Lake or Wabash, customers should exit 63rd-bound trains at the Clinton station and transfer to the Pink Line.
Harlem-bound Green Line trains are not affected and will run normally via Wabash and Lake.
Note: Pink Line trains are not affected and will run normally via the Inner Loop.
Why is service being changed?
We are making signal improvements to allow trains to operate more efficiently on the Loop Elevated.
